Thank you for asking Flavio. I mark up the pages as I read them (margin notes, circled text …) as most people do. But when I come across a fact, idea, or quote I think I might want to find later I make a brief note with page number in the front cover. Big help when I go back to find a quote or reference or reread a book. I also think the act of writing it with my hand helps me remember the quote.
Thanks - I was curious whether the relative location of the circles signified something as well since it didn’t seem to start in a linear top to bottom fashion - I was envisioning a sort of mind map with associations based on position (I may tend to overthink things)
Good idea. I find Mind Maps helpful. The variations n my book cover notes are just my attempt to remind myself which of the notes I find especially important for later use.
